The following walks are led by our volunteers.
If you’re not yet a member you’re welcome to give us a try for free. Become a member (£3/month or £33/year + concessions) and all our walks are free!
As well as helping towards keeping footpaths open, you’ll receive a free quarterly Walk magazine, walking store discounts and perhaps make new friends on the way.
Who knows, one day you might lead a walk for us too!

Weekday Walks

Join the Cleeve group for a 5.0 mile moderate walk.

Urban and rural walk followed by light lunch. Map Exp179

Join the Cleeve group for a 4.5 mile moderate walk.

From the pub we walk through the village to climb up Ravensgate Hill. We return on part of the Cheltenham Circular via Old Dole Farm and Coxhorne Farm. Shortly after crossing the A40 we turn left to join a footpath to Wellinghill House, before returing to the pub along East End Road. Map Exp 179

Gentle rise to Hidcote Boyce, Hidcote Bartrum and around the edge of Hidcote Gardens and Kiftsgate Court before returning to Mickleton. Map Lan 151

Walk pass Arch Hollow, Roman Road, Hollow Bottom following Monarch's and Heart of England Way before returning to Golden Ball Inn for Lunch. Map OL 45 


Weekend Walks

Join the Cleeve group for a 9.0 mile moderate walk.

The walk strikes eastwards over parts of the Cotswold Way and the Cheltenham circular path, crossing the rim of the huge natural amphitheatre overlooking California farm at centre stage. We return via Severn Springs, and rejoin the Cotswold way passing by the Devils Chimney. Total Ascent 1300ft. Picnic Lunch. Map Exp 179.

Walk Norton, Wallsworth,Sandhurst and Norton Hill. Good views , following part of Severn Way and back to Norton. Picnic Lunch. Map OL45.

Join the Cleeve group for a 7.0 mile moderate walk.

Walk from Stanton to Stanway along the Cotswold way, then climb the Cotswold escarpment through Lidcombe Wood to Parks Farm. Proceed north past Shenberrow Hill and Laverton Hill. Descend towards Laverton and return along the Winchcombe Way to Stanton. Total ascent 830ft. Picnic Lunch. Map OL45.

Walk over meadows of the ancient Salmonsbury origins of Bourton to Wyck Rissington and climb to Icomb. Return via Gawcombe and the gravel lakes to Bourton. Picnic Lunch. Map OL45.

A short and leisurely walk, ideal to get us in the mood for Christmas ending at The Farmers Arms where you might wish to partake of  a festive drink.

Walk Hill End , Freeman Court Farm, before following footpath nr Bird farm, Church End Farm, Daw farm, The Mythe before returning to Twyning via The Avon Way. Picnic Lunch. Map Exp 150.

Undulating Winter Walk - Bournes Green, Oakridge, Iles Green, Far Oakridge, Friths, Waterlane. Picnic Lunch. Map Exp 168.

Descend to the Thames and Severn canal, following it towards Frampton Mansell. Return on the south side of the Golden Valley through Hyde, descend again to the canal, and return to the car park via Marle Hill and Jacobs ladder.Total Ascent 1100 feet. Picnic Lunch. Map Exp 168 

Join the Cleeve group for a 6.8 mile moderate walk.

Walk the Diamond Way via Naunton to Aylworth, then follow Windrush Way to Westfield Farm, and on through woods and lanes back to Guiting. Picnic Lunch. Map OL 45.

Walk from Painswick alongside golf course and quarry up to Holcombe Farm, before continuing onto Edge before our return to Painswick. Hilly. Picnic Lunch. Map Exp 179.
